For 2010 and earlier, most round result files show random words under the “Correct Spelling” column, like stichometry where netsuke should be in 2010 Round 7. Most of the time, you can figure out which word was actually being asked based on the speller’s “Spelling Given.” For the ones you can’t figure out, use the pages I created of all words from each round (see below). Just find the page corresponding to the round in which the word you can’t identify appeared.
This mix-up is due to a glitch in the Bee’s system. There’s evidence these “random” words are from Scripps’ vault and will be used in future bees. See Glitch Words for more on this.
